The Mission..............

The purpose of this website will be to bring the plight of Hart Island, the burial home for thousands and thousands of lost souls in New York City, to the consciousness of not only those who live there but those who live across many lands.  Can nothing be done to help transform this most hallowed of ground they call "Potter's Field" into just that, hallowed ground?

This website does not profess to be the end all and be all for information about the Island - it is merely another source of information created by someone who has, once again, a very personal and vested interest. There's so much out there, quite frankly, who knows what's real and what's myth. My written words are coming from a very personal place, however, and filled with the passion of a broken heart.
